Print the currently installed version:

zonai version

version check#

Check whether a newer version is available:

zonai version check

Prints the current version and the latest available version. Does not install anything.

version update#

Download and install the latest version of the CLI in place:

zonai version update

After updating, confirm the new version with zonai version.

After Updating#

Recompile your workers after a CLI update — new versions may update the worker API:

zonai compile

If a CLI update changed the host↔worker wire protocol, zonai compile detects a stale dev host binary and rebuilds it automatically. If you're running a deployed zonai build bundle instead, rebuild and redeploy with zonai build — see Upgrading Zonai.
